Larger acrylic cases need thicker material for strength and safe transit. These requirements must be used: 3mm covers 50–300mm, 4mm up to 500mm, 5mm up to 800mm, 6mm up to 1000mm, 8mm up to 1200mm and 10mm above that. Any case ordered outside the requirements that subsequently breaks in transit will not be replaced free of charge or refunded — the wrong thickness can cause bowing, flare cracks and breakages.

Bespoke production is typically 14 working days, plus next-day tracked delivery via DPD or Pallet-Ways. A fast production service (7–10 business days) is available at a higher cost with priority processing. Cut-to-size sheets are normally turned around in under three days.

Please allow a tolerance of ±1mm — all sizes entered are external. Cases with bases lose 6mm height internally plus your material thickness (e.g. a 3mm case with base needs at least 9mm added to your required internal height). Mirror backing adds a 3mm panel internally. If no base is required you only lose the material thickness.

Delivery costs vary depending on the product purchased. Please select your product, add it to your basket and proceed to checkout to see the applicable delivery cost.

Orders are processed the next working day (Friday–Sunday orders are processed Monday). Standard items are handmade in Petersfield and dispatched within 48 hours via DPD next-day tracked delivery — aiming for delivery within 72 hours of your order. Bespoke orders typically ship after 14 working days. You'll receive tracking by email once dispatched.

Report it to retail@puffinplastics.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving the goods, with images attached. For pallet deliveries, refuse visibly damaged items — we'll reproduce them once the damage is documented for the courier claim.

Please contact us before returning an item. For stock items bought online, you may tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order; you then have a further 14 days to return it. Unless the item is faulty or not as described, you are responsible for return postage. We refund the item price and the standard outbound delivery charge in accordance with your statutory rights. Made-to-measure, personalised and other custom-made products cannot normally be returned for a change of mind, but this does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described. If you believe you've received the wrong product, contact us within 72 hours of receiving it and we'll put it right.

You can pay securely at checkout by all major credit and debit cards, PayPal and other options shown at checkout. Prices include UK VAT where applicable.

Click the account icon in the header to sign in with your email — you can view order status, tracking and invoices there. You'll also get a shipment confirmation email with tracking when your order is dispatched.
